Arya 2, also referred to as Aarya 2, is the feature film soundtrack of the 2009 Telugu Romance film Arya 2 starring Allu Arjun, Kajal Aggarwal, Navdeep and Shraddha Das. Directed by Sukumar, the film’s music and background score was composed by Devi Sri Prasad marking his third collaboration after Arya & Jagadam. The Official Soundtrack Album consists of 8 songs composed by Devi Sri Prasad and Chandrabose, Balaji, Kedarnath Parimi and Vanamali penning the lyrics. Being recorded in 2009, the film’s Soundtrack Album was launched on November 1, 2009 in a grand promotional event at Rock Heights in Madhapur, Hyderabad[1] on Sony Music label.[2] The audio was a huge success and remains as one of the best works of Devi Sri Prasad till date.[3] The Success of the Audio was celebrated at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on November 25, 2009.[4] This also made Allu Arjun to collaborate with Devi Sri Prasad for his future films Julai and Iddarammayilatho which were also musical hits.[5]
