Dasara (transl. Vijayadasami) is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language period action drama film written and directed by Srikanth Odela in his directorial debut. It stars an ensemble cast of Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko (in his Telugu Debut), Samuthirakani, P. Sai Kumar and Shamna Kasim.
The film was announced in October 2021. Principal photography commenced in March 2022 and ended in January 2023. The film is set in the backdrop of Singareni coal mines at Veerlapalli village near by Godavarikhani & Ramagundam Cities of Telangana. The versatile Tamil music director Santhosh Narayanan composed the soundtrack and film score which song chartbusters became a huge hit.Sathyan Sooryan is the Cameraman who made wonders by shooting and showing the different colour experience in his movie frames .
Dasara was released on 30 March 2023 to positive reviews from critics and emerged as a commercial success at the box office.
