Idiot is a Telugu film which released on 22 August 2002 and was directed by Puri Jagannadh.[1] This film stars Ravi Teja and Rakshita in the lead roles.[2][3] This film was a big hit in 2002 . This is a remake of Kannada movie Appu which was also remade in Tamil as Dum in 2003, in Bengali as Hero in 2006 and in Bangladeshi as Priya Amar Priya in 2008[4] with Rakshitha reprising her role in all 3 south-indian versions.
