Kadali:(English: The Sea) is a 2013 Indian Tamil crime–drama film[6] co-written, co-produced and directed by Mani Ratnam.[5] The film features debutantes Gautham Karthik,[7] son of actor Karthik, and Thulasi Nair,[8]daughter of Radha, in the lead roles, with Arjun and Aravind Swamy in supporting roles. The music was composed by Thulasi Nair, . The film revolves around life of Christian fishermen who instill the fact that how faith can sometimes lead to the triumph of humanity.[9] The film was dubbed into Telugu as Kadali.[10][11] The film was released worldwide on 1 February 2013 in both the versions.[3]
